The Youth Council is a group of local middle and high school students that plan and participate in community events and service projects. Come meet new friends, have your voice heard, and help make a difference! Joining the group is free! The Youth Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month during the school year. Schedule is subject to change due to school calendar and program events.
In this unique creative writing workshop, anyone and everyone is a songwriter. Together we co-create an original song from scratch based on participant-powered ideas. Facilitated by professional songwriter Keeth Apgar, we discuss musical concepts including melody, lyrics and harmony. The workshop can be tailored for all levels.
Si View Metro Parks facilitates some of the best programs in the Snoqualmie Valley and we want you to join in! Our Counselor in Training program is designed to set your child up for success. At CIT we train youth to be strong leaders by teaching them a variety of techniques and skills using a hands-on approach. We start the week off by getting to know each other and breaking down the barriers between individuals by having fun, we then begin learning about what it takes to be a leader and how to handle a wide variety of situations that will come up while working with kids. Participants who have successfully completed our CIT program will have the opportunity to apply for a CIT position with our summer camps for the remainder of the summer.
Join Si View staff for a day of adventuring on our bikes! Bike adventure days will start at the Si View community center. We will then head out on adventures around North Bend using local trails. Students will learn basic safety and bike maintenance. Plan on bringing a backpack to carry snacks, water and any other materials needed for the day! We will make stops at places like The Line, The General store, Rattlesnake lake and more! If you do not have a bike, Bike rentals are available at The Line Experience, here in North Bend.
This class will equip you with the essential knowledge and practical tips to keep your skin healthy and radiant during the sunny summer months. We’ll cover everything from sun protection basics and choosing the right SPF to managing common summer skin concerns like sunburns and breakouts.
No School, no problem! Join Si View for a day full of adventure similar to a summer camp day. We will meet at the Si View community Center before heading out. These trips will allow students the chance to explore new interests, see and do activities different than the typical school experience. No need to sit at home on a screen all day. Grab your friends and let’s go out on an adventure! Be sure to bring a back pack, lunch, and water bottle.
This 4 1/2-hour class teaches young people important basic babysitting and home safety skills. Students completing the class will be better prepared to provide a safer and more positive childcare experience for themselves and the young children they care for. Course topics include the business of babysitting, parent expectations, basic first aid, home and fire safety, Heimlich maneuver, telephone tips, and age-appropriate ways to engage and care for babies and young children. Participants receive a Babysitting 101 handbook and a course completion certificate. Please bring a drink, a healthy nut-free snack and lunch.
Teen Outdoor Adventure Days are back! Join us on early release Fridays as we explore local trails in the surrounding area. Transportation will be provided from Twin Falls Middle School and Si View Community Center. We will hike easy to moderate trails while making new friends and building leadership and outdoor skills. Come learn trail etiquette, leave no trace principles, and basic safety skills for hiking and recreating outdoors. Schedule may change due to weather.

TEEN RECREATION ADVENTURE CAMP (TRAC) is the ultimate in summer fun for students entering grades 6-9 (2025-26 school year). Participants experience a variety of outdoor adventures while making new friends and memories that last forever. Camp spots may be reserved with a nonrefundable/nontransferable deposit of $50 per week, due at the time of registration; each session must be paid in full on the Monday prior to the week of camp you plan to attend. Camp runs Monday- Thursday. TRAC campers participate in a wide variety of activities including hikes, field trips to lakes, water parks, movies, entertainment venues, camp games, crafts, community service, onsite entertainers, and more! TRACS has a new home! Find us at the former Riding Club location: 13121 415th Way SE. North Bend.
Teen Nights offer fun times for 6-8th graders! Join us for an awesome night of games such as dodgeball, basketball, minute to win it style challenges, trivia, socializing and more! Activities and themes vary month to month. Don't miss out on this middle school only event! Snacks are available for purchase. Pre-registration is required.

Come sew with us! Review basic sewing machine skills, make a zippered pouch, a drawstring bag, "over the handle" hanging dish towels, corner bookmarks or gift card holder, fabric box, and a baby receiving blanket with the option to make and donate another blanket for a women's shelter.
