Summer Camps – Sports

Welcome to our sports camps! Early registration is recommended, as most popular camps fill up quickly. For each day, participants should be dressed in athletic attire, prepare for outdoor or indoor activities which ever the camp is designed for, bring a snack, water bottle with child's name, and a bag to keep anything that is brought to camp together.

Skyhawks Basketball Full Day – Ages 7-12

This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. Using our progression-baased curriculum, we focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense through skill-based instruction and small-sided scrimmages. Participants should bring a water bottle, two snacks, lunch, sunscreen (outdoor camps) and wear appropriate athletic attire. Every child receives an award certificate and Skyhawks t-shirt.

Skyhawks Basketball Half Day – Ages 5-7

Skyhawks Beginning Golf – Ages 5-9

Skyhawks Beginning Golf is powered by Payne Stewart Golf Experiences, the recommended entry-level golf program for PGA Junior Golf Camps. The unique, games-based play program and modified learning equipment make it easier for kids to hit the ball and experience early success. Putting, chipping, pitching and full swing, are all taught through games, simple repetitive motions and learning rhymes that make it easy for young kids to remember and repeat. Specially designed, age-appropriate golf equipment is provided.

Skyhawks Flag Football – Ages 7-12

Experience the excitement of football with Skyhawks Flag Football Fueled by USA Football. Using a curriculum developed by the experts from USA Football, coaches will teach skills like passing, receiving, kicking and flag pulling.

Skyhawks Mini-Hawk – Ages 4-7

This multi-sport program was developed to give children a positive first step into athletics. Sports are taught in a safe, structured environment filled with encouragement and fun. Through exciting games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace. Participants should bring a water bottle, two snacks, sunscreen (outdoor camps) and wear appropriate athletic attire. Every child receives an award certificate and Skyhawks t-shirt.

Skyhawks Soccer – Ages 6-12

Your young athlete will gain the technical skills and sport knowledge required for their next step into soccer. Areas of focus are dribbling, passing, shooting and ball control. By the end of the program, your child will have learned new life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship, made new friends and improved their soccer skills.

Skyhawks Multi-Sport – Ages 6-12

Multi-Sport programs are designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting. Athletes will learn the rules and essential skills of each sport, along with vital life lessons such as sportsmanship and teamwork.

Skyhawks Tennis – Ages 7-12

Whether your child is a beginning or intermediate player, this program will improve their game and help them get more enjoyment from tennis. Our tennis programs focus on skill refinement as well as practice and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded tennis players.

Girls Basketball Camps – Grades 4-8

Girls Basketball Camp MSHS Varsity Girls Coach Robert Lowden is excited to connect with our youth and building the foundation for a healthy Girls Basketball Program for years to come. Youth basketball players will receive instruction from HS coaches along with HS Varsity/ JV players. Come run with the Wildcats!

Boys Basketball Camps – Grades 3-5, 6-8

Mount Si HS basketball program is hosting a youth camp again this summer! We welcome coach Jason Griffith and his Varsity/JV Mount Si Boys Basketball players for a great 3 days of basketball camp. Kids will run through a variety of fundamentals that are taught at the HS level and be able to interact with Mount Si players and coaches. Camp will consist of games and competitions throughout the week. Kids will need to bring their own basketball and a packed lunch with a water bottle each day. Register your child for their current 2022-23 grade level (3rd-8th grades). All grade levels will be separated with use of Mount Si High School’s 5 courts.

Cascade FC Soccer Camps – Ages 6-12

Cascade FC summer Camps are geared toward 6-12 year olds with the instruction focused on player development and enjoyment of the game. The coaching provided lessons help improve their basic skills and execution as well as provide them with continued awareness of game strategies.

Volleyball Camps – Grades 2-5, 6-8

We are excited to introduce a volleyball camp with instructor Cristin Stahlberg. Some of you may already know Cristin from our school year volleyball program. She is a former Tumwater HS and collegiate player at Seattle University, and brings expertise to all levels of players.

Pro Baseball & Softball Camps – Ages 8-14

Any kids looking to improve their skills with Steve Goucher who is a former Atlanta Braves pitcher and scout, this is your calling! Steve’s camps work all aspects of baseball and softball including throwing, fielding, pitching, and hitting. Steve has over 20 years of experience instructing baseball. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!
