The Si View Metropolitan Park District has an opening to serve on the Board of Commissioners for a term that expires December 31st, 2023. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. March 13th, 2019. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and reside within the District boundaries. Interviews will be conducted on Wednesday March 20th, 2019 with new commissioner appointment on April 3rd, 2019.

The Si View Metropolitan Park District is an independent, regional unit of government similar to a fire district, hospital district or school district, allowing local control of the Si View Park, Pool, and Community Center. A five member Board of Commissioners govern the Si View Metropolitan Park District. Commissioners serve six-year staggered terms and are the legislative body responsible for adopting the District budget and developing goals, policies and regulations which will guide the District's future.
