The Snoqualmie Valley Track Club cross country
program provides a fun running environment for
youth. Our 2020 team was coached by dedicated
volunteers Jordan Hamm and Matt Freud setting
an excellent example for youth with a goal of
guiding participants toward their individual personal
best. The program teaches the fundamentals
of distance running, such as how to run more
efficiently, pacing, and basic warm-up/cool-down
strategies. While our season at South Fork Landing
in North Bend was a bit different this season
as team structure was kept smaller and meets
against other eastside teams cancelled, our runners
worked hard at each practice and put forth
their best effort at a team race at the park. Keep up
the good work runners!

SVTC Cross Country Club
Returns Fall 2021
Snoqualmie Valley Track Club is excited about
continuing with our cross country program for the
fifth consecutive year! This season we are looking
at competitions with Bellevue, Issaquah, Maple
Valley and Auburn. We are always in need of
help with coaching so any experience in running
and passion for helping kids please let us know.
Our focus will be on technique and working with
kids to improve their endurance. We will practice
twice a week at South Fork landing in North Bend
with competitive meets taking place in October on
Sundays and then the last Friday of the month in
Valley Track Club!
SVTC is run by volunteer coaches who are passionate
about the sport and enjoy working with youth.
Coaches work with young athletes ages 5-14 on
sprints, distance running, and field events including
jumping and throwing events. Volunteer commitment
is 3-4 hours per week during the summer season.
