We offer a variety of course options for adults by experienced community instructors ready to help you reach your personal goals! Most programs require pre-registration to secure a spot for you in the class. Classes that use punch passes are flexible for individuals with busy schedules as passes are valid for 6-months from the date of purchase.

Fitness Classes

Zumba Workshop

Join us for a vibrant and empowering 1.5-hour Zumba workshop designed for all levels; whether you've never tried Zumba or have some experience and want to sharpen your moves. This isn't just a workout, it's your chance to learn the language of Zumba before diving into the dance party!

Come join our Adult Zumba classes that are designed to bring people together to have a fun work-out that feels like line-dancing! Zumba dances will be a combination of rhythmic dance and movement that target muscle building and cardio, all of which are at each individual’s level and pace. We will engage in warmups and warm downs with touches on stretching techniques. Each class will be filled with exciting, electric, dancing fun that will leave you feeling accomplished and connected! No classes are scheduled for 2/17 or 4/14. Drop in option: Zumba classes accept daily drop-ins, if the course has not sold out. Cost for single class visit is R $12 | NR $14.40.

Sound Healing Sessions

Instructor: Aimee Arendsee

Join Aimee Arendsee of Indivara Sound and Healing Arts on a sound healing journey to help bring your mind, body and spirit into vibrational energetic balance. Experience deep relaxation into the theta meditation state enhanced by multiple crystal singing bowls, planetary tuned gongs, ocean drums and more. Sound healing has been shown to aid in the reduction of stress,blood pressure, anxiety and depression as well as stimulate and balance the immune, glandular and nervous systems. Please bring a water bottle, yoga mat/sleeping pad, blanket and pillow if desired. We generally allow a 15 minute segment at the end of our session to share your experience, hold space for others and ask questions.

Ashtanga Yoga

Judy Baldwin, a Yoga Alliance registered instructor, strives to create a welcoming, safe environment free of judgment and competition for all who would like to practice ashtanga yoga in community with others. Ashtanga Yoga, the "Eight Limbs of Yoga" is a slow flow, meditative physical practice (3rd limb) infused with breath work (4th limb), yoga philosophy (limbs 1 and 2) and the various levels of meditation (limbs 5-8). Yoga is a way of life which complements your belief system whether you are atheist, agnostic, spiritual or religious. The goals of this practice are to feel more relaxed and centered, flexible and strong and better able to take on all that your life entails. Practicing yoga together builds a strong support system and sense of belonging. The class levels are adapted to suit your experience with yoga, general health and conditioning. The instructor is happy to assist you with deciding on the particular practice to join.

Yoga mat required; other props recommended but not necessary.

Paddleboard Yoga and Fitness

Come build your SUP foundation in a warm, calm, safe pool environment before it's time to go outside on the lake, river, and the ocean. We will cover entering and exiting the water safely fundamentals of fitness on a stand up Paddleboard. No SUP experience required. Dress for a HOT yoga class. Paddle Board equipment is provided by instructor.

Dance Fitness

Who says hip hop is just for the kids? From 20 to 99, we're here to shake it, sweat it, and prove we've still got rhythm (or at least enthusiasm). Expect laughter, new friends, to break a sweat and moves that make your knees question their life choices. All levels welcome. It's time to party and get fit.

Bollywood Fitness

Instructor: Bolly Dance House

Bolly Dance House presents a Bolly fitness program which is infused with higher and lower intensity dance sequences to the hottest Bollywood music from all around the world. This Bolly fitness program will work on cardiovascular endurance, toning muscles, flexibility and uplifting your mood. Come join us for a fun-filled, high energetic full hour Bolly fitness session! No classes are scheduled for Feb 19 or Apr 16. Drop in option: Bollywood Fitness classes accept daily drop-ins, if the course has not sold out. Cost of a single class visit is R $13 | NR $15.60.

Fitmates

Instructor: Michael Gaudio

Are you game for a challenge? Come workout with the Fitmates group! We will be torching calories, toning muscles, and building endurance; all in an energetic setting with a challenge by choice approach. Fitmates will keep you motivated and coming back for more!

Stroller Striders

Calling all new parents! Time to lace up your walking shoes and get striding with your little ones. This walking group aims to bring together parents to socialize, encourage new friendships, and be active with their stroller-bound children. We'll explore the beautiful parks and trail system right here in North Bend. Register now for email updates on routes and meeting locations. Walks will alternate each week, Wednesdays at 11:30AM, Thursdays at 9:00AM.

Winter Walking Club

Organized winter season walks will take place at various parks and trails throughout North Bend. Participants will have the opportunity to socialize while getting their steps in! Be sure to register for this free program to receive notifications of meeting locations and routes for each week.

Are you looking to expand on your usual walking fitness to the great outdoors? Living in North Bend gives us great access to our extended backyard! Join us on these easy to moderate hikes as we add some elevation to your normal walking! Followed by a lunch trip to a local restaurant! Led by Si View's Outdoor Rec. Coordinator. Transportation provided to/from trailhead and restaurant. Please meet at Si View Community Center. *Fee does not include lunch*
