South Fork Landing

South Fork Landing – Future Community Park

Active and passive recreation opportunities

South Fork Landing is a 28 acre open space property located on 436th Avenue SE near I-90 exit 32 in North Bend. Si View Metro Parks purchased this property for a future community park through the 2018 Capital Bond proceeds. The site previously housed a golf course, and offers tremendous potential for both active and passive recreation uses.

The master planning process for South Fork Landing is now in its early stages with land use planning research to be completed by project consultant Berger Partnership. First public meetings for a visioning exercise are planned for Fall 2019. This is an exciting opportunity for the public to bring forth ideas for desired recreational uses and see your Capital Bond dollars at work. The master plan process will be completed by the end of this year. In the interim, the space is open as an informal park for public to use daily from 7AM to dusk. Please note that all Si View Metro Parks rules apply, including keeping pets leashed. A local concessionaire is operating the General Store 7AM-7PM daily. When visiting the park, please be respectful of the parking reserved for Riverbend Café, which is not part of the public park property. Public parking is available in a gravel lot off SE 142nd Street.

A number of temporary activities are scheduled at the park while the master planning effort is in progress. These include an 18-hole public disc golf course, Si View programs at the Pro Shop and open fields, and overnight rentals of glamping units near the pond through a third party concessionaire. Information about the availability of these units is available online. A popular local community festival DoggieStock benefiting Valley Animal Partners, is also scheduled at South Fork Landing on Saturday September 7th.

Installation of the 18-hole public disc golf course is now nearing completion. While signage and informational kiosk have not yet been installed, the course is in active use. Please use parking area off SE 142nd Street to access the park and use the map for course details.
