Our brand new Counselor in Training Camp is designed to set your child up for success. At CIT Camp we will train youth to be strong leaders with a variety of techniques and skills using a hands on approach. We will start the week off by getting to know each other and breaking down the barriers between individuals by having fun, we will then begin learning about what it takes to be a leader and then develop an action plan. The week long camp will culminate in a day long program planned by participants for our elementary school aged camps. Big Flips Gymnastics Camp

Learn gymnastics or improve your current gymnastics skills. Our grade school camp provides basic to intermediate gymnastics training. Gymnastics builds strength, balance, coordination, flexibility and confidence, a valuable athletic foundation to excel in a variety of sports. Each student will experience gymnastics including tumbling, bars, beam and vault progressing at his or her own level. Classes are noncompetitive and focus on general fitness, self-esteem, and fun!

Parkour Camp

This fun camp will provide gymnastics skills for use in parkour or free-running. The strength, flexibility, and coordination to do parkour will be taught in this high-energy class. Many skills in parkour can be perfected in our gymnastics class. Classes are perfect for girls and boys looking for an exciting new activity!

Jedi Engineering

Young Jedi will explore worlds far, far away and engineering principles right in front of them. Defeat the Empire by designing and refining LEGO X-Wings, R2-units, and settlements on far-flung edges of the galaxy. Imagination and engineering combine to create motorized and architectural projects such as energy catapults, shield generators and defense turrets.

Eco Engineering

Design and build LEGO machines powered by alternative energy sources. Race solar cars, build a wind-powered electrical generation facility, and invent a machine powered by stored elastic strain energy. Learn about sustainability and understand the human world while exploring concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture.

Mine, Craft, Build Survival Game using LEGO®

Bring Minecraft to life using LEGO! Resourcefulness, creativity, and cooperation come together in this unique building adventure game; roll the dice to mine for resources, craft tools, and watch out for Creepers! This ultimate LEGO Minecraft experience is an original game designed by Play- Well instructors, using gameplay elements and characters inspired by the popular Minecraft video game. Students will have a blast, even without any prior experience with Minecraft or LEGO.

Robotics Using LEGO® Mindstorms

Build and program robots using the LEGO Mindstorms system! Learn about mechanical and software design, loops, conditional statements, problem solving, and teamwork skills. Work in small groups, program and build your robot, and rise to the challenge. Control the robot to avoid obstacles, pick up and carry objects, and play sounds. Projects are structured so that students work in an openended, investigative environment while having fun.

Wilderness Survivor Day Camp

Set your kids’ imagination and adventurous spirits free as they learn about the natural environment and the important skills of survival. Shelter, water, fire, and food. No matter what your child’s background is, from never having camped before, to the most experienced nature enthusiast, they’ll have a BLAST at this camp. Survival Camp is a great way to keep your kids busy this summer while making sure they learn important (and life-saving) skills. Activities range from basic nature/environmental education such as plant identification and animal tracking, to true survival skills. Children will gain confidence and comfort in being outdoors, while having a great time and staying active. Learning these timeless traditions, such as native shelter building and fireby- friction, helps to build self-esteem and awareness from knowing YOU CAN SURVIVE! This is a great opportunity to pull your kids and teens away from the television, computer, and electronic devices, and get them excited about the wilderness. In short: this camp is about getting back to the earth, learning how our ancestors lived in harmony with our planet, and experiencing nature to its fullest. There is something here for every child – come with an open mind and be ready to have fun! (Parents are welcome to register as well. You can learn side-by-side with your child!)
