Our commitment to our core values of safety, quality, service and fun have resulted in not only awards but in a very positive public image for the district. We accomplished this with the support of a wonderful board of commissioners and hard work from our team members. Despite this recognition, each day we strive for improvement and will never be satisfied with providing a service that is less than excellent.

Our success depends on many unsung heroes. Our team members are motivated each day to enhance the quality of your life. We are fortunate to have terrific team members who deliver the magic and, without whom, nothing we do would be possible.

Maintenance Technician Emily Ferree email:
Emily joined Si View Metro Parks District in 2015. As a Maintenance Technician, Emily can be seen throughout all of our parks and facilities maintaining the park grounds as well as up keeping the buildings to help ensure that the District provides the best services for the community. Growing up in the Snoqualmie Valley, Emily developed a love for the world of recreation at a young age. Between the outdoor family activities, she was a frequent visitor of the Si View Community Center and Pool. She has seen the value that the district provides to this community and the residents alike and is honored to be a part of the team to continue that legacy. In her free time, Emily can be found outside enjoying all that this beautiful state has to offer. In between her time spent mountain biking, sea kayaking, snowmobiling, hiking, and skiing Emily can also be found volunteering with a local scouting organization giving back to the youth of the valley just as so many have done for her.

Ample recreation opportunities and viable economic development plan are key elements of resilient, healthy communities. She has been fortunate to get to live, work and play in her home community for many years and in that time witnessed firsthand how these elements can impact the quality of life for residents and visitors alike. In her free time, she enjoys the many outdoor recreation opportunities Pacific Northwest has to offer. She especially enjoys scenic trail running and climbing some of the highest Northwest peaks.
