Have you enrolled in our CIT Camp yet? Want to gain experience as a Recreation Leader but just arenít old enough to work yet? Register for CIT Camp to see if you have what it takes to be a CIT. Counselors in Training will volunteer alongside Recreation Leaders throughout the season providing assistance in leading games and activities, setting up for programs, and mentoring younger participants. This is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills in leadership as well as responsibility. Hours will vary with the time commitment you can provide. To be considered for these positions you must register for CIT Camp and fill out a Counselor in Training Application at the end. We will set up interviews with qualified candidates.
Si View Metro Parks facilitates some of the best parks in the Snoqualmie Valley and we want you to be a part of it. Our Counselor in Training Camp is designed to set your child up for success. At CIT Camp we will train youth to be strong leaders by teaching them a variety of techniques and skills using a hands on approach. We will start the week off by getting to know each other and breaking down the barriers between individuals by having fun, we will then begin learning about what it takes to be a leader and then develop an action plan. Participants who have completed our CIT Camp will have the opportunity to apply for a CIT position with our summer camps for the remainder of the summer.
