Si View Youth Sports offers a winter recreational basketball league for kids in grades K-6. Whether it is a child’s first time picking up a basketball or a player who wishes to hone their skills, this league represents an experience focused on creating a fun and educational environment for all ages. Weekly practice sessions to work on fundamentals and team play, and games on Saturday mornings or early afternoons.
"Great rec. league for a fantastic price. Refs were great! I think the management of the program was great and well run."
The season starts with Skill Sessions which give our coaches/evaluators a chance to see the skill level of all players. This is a great way for the kids to meet coaches and new friends. Attendance of at least one skill session is mandatory for all players. Skill sessions are NOT tryouts as all kids who register for our league will be placed on a teams. Teams are formed after skill session dates and rosters released few weeks before the season begins. We work hard in creating balanced teams based on ability levels with a goal of having most kids play on teams with players from their respective schools. Teams will be formed for girls and boys for Kindergarten, Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4 and Grades 5-6. Practices are held weekly during the season focusing on fundamentals and working in a team environment. Games will be played on Saturday mornings and early afternoons. Both practice and game times as well as locations are scheduled according to gym availability. League registration is required prior to skill sessions.
All kids looking for some Holiday Hoops Action, you have come to the right place. Si View will host a clinic that will work on basic fundamentals of the game while implementing competitions along the way. Coaches for this class are passionate about teaching the kids the proper way to play the game of basketball. The class will provide plenty of instruction during the designated time slot. If your child is looking to hone their skills, then this environment will be beneficial.
Basketball season is in full swing, don’t miss your chance to improve your skills throughout the season. This full four day class is designed to emphasize fundamentals, teamwork, hustle, and fun. This class will provide opportunities for both younger and older kids to sharpen their skills.

Spring maybe in the air but it is still time for basketball. Si View Youth Sports offers a spring recreational basketball league beginning April 20th. This league will cater to every level of play for both boys and girls. Games will be on Saturdays and during the week depending on gym availability. Teams will consist of 7-10 players. Volunteer coaches are always needed!
This league is offered to both boys and girls. The structure of the league mirrors a collegiate intramural setting. Kids can form their own teams and have 5 to 10 players to a roster. The league will be self-officiated with a site monitor on hand to keep score and maintain the atmosphere. Teams need to have same color jerseys or shorts. We can provide jerseys on site if needed. PLEASE register as a team. If there are individuals that do not have a team we will try to place those participants on a team or form a team of individual players. There will be no practices, only games on Saturdays. For further questions or interest please contact Aaron Colby at (425) 831-1900 or by email .
Winter weekends are a busy time for Si View Youth Sports with two overlapping youth basketball leagues, the Si View recreational league for K-6 graders and a more competitive Wildcat travel league for 5-8 graders. With 600 young players and nearly 800 games under the belt last season, we had a fantastic time working with the kids, seeing their skills and confidence develop over the course of the winter.
The basketball program would not be possible without a dedicated group of nearly 100 volunteers, who helped out with many tasks from coaching to assistants to team managers - thank you for your contributions!
