Winter Recreation Basketball League

Whether it is a child’s .rst time picking up a basketball or child who wishes to hone their skill level, Si View Winter Rec League presents an experience focused on creating a fun and educational environment for all. Registration closes November 1st for ALL GRADE LEVELS. Teams are formed after the closing date and rosters released few weeks before the season begins. We work hard in creating balanced teams based on ability levels, and whenever possible grouping kids together by their school. We do not guarantee player/coach requests or that all players will be on teams with kids from the same school. Practices will be held at Snoqualmie Valley schools, but not necessarily your child’s school. Teams will be formed for girls and boys for Kindergarten, Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4 and Grades 5-6. Practices are held weekly during the season focusing on fundamentals and working in a team environment. Games are played on Saturday mornings and early afternoons. Both practice and game times as well as locations are scheduled according to gym availability. Parents willing to volunteer as a coach are guaranteed a roster spot for their child.

NEW! Instead of Skill Sessions, players will be placed on teams based on information provided by parents in the registration questionnaire. Note that registration for all grade levels closes November 1st!

Middle and High School
Recreation Basketball League

This league is offered to both boys and girls. The structure of the league mirrors a collegiate intramural setting. Kids can form their own teams and have 5 to 10 players to a roster. The league will be self-officiated with a site monitor on hand to keep score and maintain the atmosphere. Teams need to have same color jerseys or shorts. We can provide jerseys on site if needed. Please register as a team. If there are individuals who do not have a team we will try to place those participants on a team or form a team of individual players. There will be no practices, only games on Saturdays.

Looking for individuals who are passionate about their sport and enjoy working with youth. We have positions available for recreation teams that require very little experience in basketball with a time commitment of 3 hours per week. Thank you to our youth sports volunteers!!

Winter weekends are a busy time for Si View Youth Sports with two overlapping youth basketball leagues, the Si View recreational league for K-6 graders and a more competitive Wildcat travel league for 5-8 graders. With 600 young players and nearly 800 games under the belt last season, we had a fantastic time working with the kids, seeing their skills and confidence develop over the course of the winter.

The basketball program would not be possible without a dedicated group of nearly 100 volunteers, who helped out with many tasks from coaching to assistants to team managers - thank you for your contributions!
