Riders Park is our newest community park, named in honor of the Snoqualmie Valley Riding Club–the land donor–and the site's history as a long-standing riding arena.
A master planning process is underway for this 6‑acre future community park located at 13121 415th Way SE, North Bend. The property was generously donated to Si View Metropolitan Park District by the Snoqualmie Valley Riding Club in June 2024, helping preserve open space and expand recreation access in an area previously underserved by parks. Guided by public input, the master plan will shape Riders Park into a dynamic and welcoming community space designed to support outdoor activity, social connection, and access to nature.

Site History
In June 2024, Si View Metropolitan Park District accepted the
donation of a six-acre parcel from the Snoqualmie Valley Riding Club. Located on the south
side of I‑90 near exit 31, this land will become a much‑needed community park in an area
previously identified as a "park desert" due to limited access to developed park spaces.
The Snoqualmie Valley Riding Club, founded in 1947, promoted good sportsmanship in horseback riding and educated members on horse care and training. For decades, the club hosted shows, trail rides, parades, lessons, and clinics, with its arena known locally for having one of the fastest dirt tracks around. Over time, community interest shifted toward activities not feasible at the site, leading to declining membership and eventual closure despite strong efforts by dedicated volunteers.
To honor the club's mission of public education and recreation, the organization selected Si View Metropolitan Park District as the recipient of the land. Si View's history of community-driven park design—including Tollgate Farm Park and Tennant Trailhead Park—made the district a natural fit. The Riding Club will have the opportunity to participate as a community stakeholder during master planning.
