Our newest community park has been named Riders Park to honor the land donor Snoqualmie Valley Riding Club and the site’s previous use as a riding arena.
Master planning process for a brand-new 6-acre community park located at 13121 415th Way SE, North Bend is in progress. The project site was generously donated to Si View Metropolitan Park District by the Snoqualmie Valley Riding Club in June 2024, preserving open space and expanding recreation access in an area previously underserved by parks.
A master plan driven by public input will transform the newly acquired property into a dynamic, vibrant, and fun community park with variety for everyone. This project will enhance the quality of life for residents by providing a well-designed environment that encourages outdoor activity, social interaction, and connections to nature.
Community Input Is Key!
The success of the master planning process is dependent on engaging in a collaborative process with stakeholders which includes neighbors, sports groups, and community members – your ideas and feedback – to ensure that the park design can best serve the park district residents.
A community survey is open until February 27th, 2026 to provide feedback on three concept plans.

Site History
In June 2024, Si View Metropolitan
Park District accepted a land donation from Snoqualmie Valley Riding Club. This generous gift to our community preserves a six-acre parcel on
the southside of I-90 near exit 31 in North Bend for a future community park. The donated parcel is a most welcome addition to the community's
open space inventory and will enhance recreation options and access to parks for generations to come in an area of the district that has been
identified as a park desert, lacking public access to developed park spaces.
The non-profit Snoqualmie Valley Riding Club was founded in 1947 to promote and encourage good sportsmanship in horseback riding and to advance the education of membership on the care, riding and training of horses. For many years, the Riding Club offered shows, trail rides, parades, lessons, and clinics bringing together equestrians for events. The arena’s track offered some of the fastest dirt around, making it a popular destination for events. In more recent years, the community interest for equestrian activities declined as riders gravitated towards programs such as lessons and dressage not feasible at this site, and over time the membership declined. Despite several years of dedicated efforts by a core group of Riding Club members to revamp programming, organization structure and funding sources, the Riding Club has closed.
In honoring the Snoqualmie Valley Riding Club's mission to provide public education and recreation options, Si View Metropolitan Park District was selected as the recipient of the land, given the district's proven track record of community driven public recreation programming and parks. Projects such as Tollgate Farm Park and Tennant Trailhead Park served as great examples of successful outcomes of designing and developing facilities based on identified community needs. The Riding Club parcel, now in public ownership, will go through a similar master planning effort, with Snoqualmie Valley Riding Club having an option to serve as one of the community stakeholders.
