Must register by Dec 16th. Why sit at home during Winter Break, when you can hit the slopes. Lessons and /or lift tickets must be purchased by participant. Staff will help those who need to rent boards or skis. Bring a sack lunch or extra money for food. Fee includes transportation and supervision.

Inner Tubing
Must register by Dec 16th. Join Si View teens for a trip to Snoqualmie Pass Tubing Center. We will spend the day sleddin’ and screamin’ down the mountain. This is a trip for anyone who enjoys heading down a mountain in a tube you can not control. Fee includes equipment, snack, supervision and transportation.

Learning Cartwheels and Confidence
Jet’s Gymnastics Express offers a class with age appropriate curriculum that is designed to facilitate ongoing skill development and maximum fun!!--developing their confidence as their skills improve. A class filled with movement, music and learning.

Springboard to your Dreams
Jet’s Gymnastics Express has specially designed a program for grade school girls and boys that allows for varying individual skill development, while giving each child a chance to tackle new challenges at their own skill level. Your child will develop advanced balance, flexibility and power through their training.

Youth Karate
Karate is for everyone! In our youth program, students
learn the importance of Black Belt Excellence, a metaphor
for demonstrating strong character, both in karate and
in life. This program improves concentration, develops
confidence and helps students achieve personal

Youth Programs. VIEWBIES will volunteer alongside
Recreation Leaders throughout the season providing
assistance in leading games and activities, setting
up for programs, and mentoring younger participants.
This is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills in
leadership as well as responsibility. Hours will vary
with the time commitment you can provide. To be

Yoga for Youngsters
Get ready for an exciting new adventure each week. Your child will be involved in a story combining movement, breath and imagination. Using the tools of yoga can help children with focus, concentration, and setting a foundation for building healthy habits.

Drawing with Color
Students will dive into color as they learn to mix and blend with color pencil, chalk pastel & oil pastel. We will be drawing objects from real life. This is the partner class to the previous “Basic Drawing” class, although there is no experience required for this class. All art materials provided.

Pen Strokes & Ink Blots
Students will work with ink pens, quill pens & india ink and brushes with ink as they practice brush strokes, cross-hatching & pointillism. We will be drawing fruit still-lives, bottles, lizards and koi. Dress for mess. No experience required. All art materials provided.

Beginning Watercolor
If you would like to learn some basic techniques for watercolor painting, this class is for you! In this class we will be learning to set up our palettes, mix colors & basic brush strokes. No experience required. Dress for mess. All art materials provided.

Mixed Media
Anything goes in this class! Have fun combining things like crayon & watercolor, collage & ink, or beading & paint. We will be working with lots of color & texture. Iguana Portrait Collage Workshop
Join Michelle (who’s crazy about iguanas & alligators) in creating a unique portrait of an iguana. We will be using pen & ink, acrylic & collage as we create a 3-D “pop-out” portrait of your own crazy iguana character! No experience required. Dress for mess. All art materials provided. Hands on Fun with American Artists!
Explore the world of art through the eyes of artists. Learn about Faith Ringgold and create handmade fabric collage quilts. Look at the abstract printmaking techniques of Robert Rauschenberg and design and learn a variety of printmaking techniques. Discover the sculptures and mobiles by Alexander Calder and create a moving sculpture with wire and found objects. Discover the pop art movement with Andy Warhol, and create a one of kind painting! Students will discover a variety of new materials and mediums while learning interesting facts and information about several exciting American Artists. Dive in and be ready to get messy! Fun times for 5-7th graders!! Come join us for an awesome night of games, Wii, 3 on 3 basketball tournaments, eating contests, and so much more. Photography Made Easy "Basics"
This 3 hour session is dedicated to removing any mystery and teaching you the ins and outs of YOUR digital camera. You’ll receive a simple to understand explanation that will help you to enjoy your camera. We’ll adjust your camera to take optimal photos on the automatic as well as all of the icon choices. I’ll teach you why choosing the right icon settings will improve your photos and give you an overview of the manual settings. We’ll take photos and discuss how to improve Framing, Focusing, and Lighting options and methods to create wonderful looking photos that will surely impress your friends and family. Workshops will be held at SnapShotSandys office/studio in North Bend or at the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery Science Center.
