Si View Wildcat Travel Basketball "Experience Something Great!!!"

Wildcat Travel BasketballThe goals of the Wildcat Boys and Girls Travel Basketball program is to further the development of our boys and girls into committed athletes. This program will not only teach young men and women the skills they need to contend at a competitive level on the basketball court, but the program will also provide them the experience, commitment, teamwork, and confidence they will need to overcome many of life’s challenges. Our program teaches many skills on the basketball court but most importantly our program develops our youth for life beyond the sport itself.

The boy’s teams are members of 2 different leagues: Eastside Travel League (5th-8th grades), and the Cascade Travel League (5th-8th grades) with the girl’s teams playing in the PSTL - The Puget Sound Travel League (5th-8th grades). The girl’s program now has also added a Cascade Travel League (5th-8th grades) much like the boys. We are striving to improve our numbers with both the boys and girls. Each team may practice two or even three times a week depending on gym availability.

Each participant will be provided home and away uniforms, shooting shirts, and a travel bag. All items must be returned at the end of season as participants do not keep their uniforms. Teams may play home, away, and tournament games. Some home games may take place in gyms within the Snoqualmie Valley School District. Away games, depending on the league, take place in the Seattle and Eastside surrounding communities. Regular season games fall on weekends, and a few tournament games may fall on weekdays such as Friday Evenings or during school breaks. Tournament and league games tip off in November and run through March. Each league will end with a league tournament. League tournaments provide a competitive atmosphere for our young athletes that will better prepare them for the future.

Volunteer Coaches Needed! Travel/Recreational Basketball

Our Basketball Programs would not be the success it is without the time and dedication of our Volunteer Coaches! Every year we have over 80+ coaching positions available. Looking for individuals that are passionate about their sport and enjoying working with youth. We have positions available for recreation teams that require very little experience in basketball with a time commitment of 2.5 hours per week. Travel coaches require some basketball coaching and/or playing experience with a time commitment of 4-5 hours during the week and 3-4 hours during the weekend. If there is any interest in being a volunteer coach, please contact Aaron Colby at (425) 831-1900 or email .
