Si View Wildcat Travel Basketball "Experience Something Great!!!"

Wildcat Travel Basketball Experience Great Challenges and Great Success!!!
The goals of the Wildcat Boys and Girls Travel Basketball program are to further the development of our players into committed athletes before they reach high school. This program will not only teach the skills they need to contend at a competitive level on the basketball court, but also provide the experience, commitment, teamwork, and confidence they will need to overcome many life challenges.

Our Wildcat boy’s teams will look to form two teams at each grade level and participate in two different leagues, the Eastside Travel League and the Cascade Travel League. Our Wildcat girl’s teams play in the PSTL - The Puget Sound Travel League (5th-8th grades) and the Cascade Travel League.

Each team may practice two or even three times a week depending on “gym availability”. Each participant is provided home and away uniforms, shooting shirts, and a travel bag. All items must be returned at the end of season. Teams may play home, away, and tournament games. Some home games may take place in gyms within the Snoqualmie Valley School District. Away games, depending on the league, take place in or around the Eastside surrounding communities. Regular season games fall on weekends, and a few tournament games may fall on weekdays such as Friday Evenings or during school breaks. Tournament and league games tip off is in November and run through March. Each league will end with a league tournament. League tournaments provide a competitive atmosphere for our young athletes that will better prepare them for the future.

Coming in August of 2014!

This season the Wildcat Travel Basketball Program will again open the door for 4th grade boys and girls to participate. Tryouts will be held for 4th grade boys and girls and will most likely participate in the Cascade Travel Basketball League for boys and girls or the Eastside Travel League for just boys. Volunteer Travel Basketball Coaches Needed!

Our Basketball Programs would not be the success it is without the time and dedication of our Volunteer Coaches! Every year we have over 80+ coaching positions available. Looking for individuals that are passionate about their sport and enjoying working with youth. We have positions available for recreation teams that require very little experience in basketball with a time commitment of 2.5 hours per week. Travel coaches require some basketball coaching and/or playing experience with a time commitment of 4-5 hours during the week and 3-4 hours during the weekend. If there is any interest in being a volunteer coach, please contact Aaron Colby at (425) 831-1900 or email .

You can print out the Travel Basketball coaching application here .

Thank you to our youth sports volunteers!!
Winter weekends are a busy time for Si View Youth Sports with two overlapping youth basketball leagues, the Si View recreational league for K-6 graders and a more competitive Wildcat travel league for 5-8 graders. With 600 young players and nearly 800 games under the belt last season, we had a fantastic time working with the kids, seeing their skills and confidence develop over the course of the winter.
The basketball program would not be possible without a dedicated group of nearly 100 volunteers, who helped out with many tasks from coaching to assistants to team managers - thank you for your contributions!
