Calling all runners as this is your child’s opportunity to showcase their ability at our annual three week series of fun meets. Kids, parents, and family members are invited to attend meets presented by the Junior Wildcat Track Club. Each participant is allowed to enter up to 5 overall events. Everyone get those running shoes and push off the starting blocks as summer is right around the corner which means some fun in the sun. Our track season begins June 4th with practices at Mount Si High School. Practices will be on Tuesdays while meets fall on Thursdays. Our club will host 1-2 meets this season while traveling to other programs within our league including Issaquah, Auburn, or Renton. SVTC provides a competitive environment for kids looking to improve their running technique as well as field events. Kids will compete in Olympic Events such as the 100m, 200m, 4x100 relay, etc. Registration fee will include a SVTC t-shirt to be worn at all meets.
Whether you are brand new to T&F or simple haven’t stopped think about it since the end of last season, we have NEW fun camp for you! During spring break, Si View staff along with MSHS student athletes will lead a four day camp for K-5 students covering all aspects of T&F. Participants practice running, jumping and throwing events as well as compete in a mini-meet on the last day of camp! Come practice technique, meet new friends and above all have healthy dose of fun! This camp will get you ready for the upcoming All Comers Track Meets as well as the Junior Wildcat Track Club. Dress for weather and bring a water bottle to camp each day. Our track coaches are required to have some track and field coaching and/or playing experience with a time commitment of 3-4 hours during the week for roughly one month season.
