Snoqualmie Valley Track Club is excited to expand to the fall season with a cross country program. This is our first attempt at an XC program and we are looking at competitions with Bellevue, Issaquah, and Auburn. Our focus will be on technique and working with kids to improve their endurance. We will practice twice a week with competitive meets taking place in October on Sundays and then the last Friday of the month.
Kids, parents, and family members are welcome at the All Comers Meets presented by the Junior Wildcat Track Club. Each participant may enter up to 5 overall events. Running events include 25 meter sprint to 1600 meter run, field events with long jump, turbo javelin, and ball throw. These meets provide a chance for families to enjoy a healthy dose of outdoor fitness activities together.
Our track season begins June 2nd with practices at Mount Si High School. SVTC provides a fun and competitive environment for kids looking to improve their running technique and practice field events. Registration fee includes a SVTC t-shirt to be worn at all meets. Practices are on Tuesday evenings and meets on Thursday evenings. Our club will host one home meet this season and travels to other clubs within our league including Issaquah, Renton, and Auburn.
