Si View Adult Group Fitness Classes

Health and Wellness

Si View Health and Wellness programs offer a variety of year-round fitness classes as well as seasonal wellness courses. Our experienced instructors look forward to helping you reach your personal goals!

Many of our year-round fitness classes are drop-in based, meaning you can pay a drop-in fee for a single visit, or purchase a pass for multiple visits. Drop-in classes do not require pre-registration. Passes are sold for 5 or 10 visits at a time. Passes are sold per instructor and valid only towards classes the specific instructor offers. Cost of passes varies from class to class. Passes are not valid towards classes offered by other instructors. Passes are personal and not transferable. All memberships and punch passes are now available for purchase and/or renewal online.

Enrollment classes have limited class sizes and require pre-registration. Enrollment classes do not typically offer a drop-in option. Session length varies; please refer to class description for details. Register early to guarantee a spot.

Please bring a towel
and a water bottle to all fitness programs.

Drop-in Fitness Classes

Pre-registration is not required for drop-in classes. Pay as you go, or contact Si View Administrative Office at (425) 831-1900 to purchase a punch pass.

Created in the early 1950’s by Moshé Feldenkrais the primary focus of this practice is to give the user greater self-awareness of functional movement that can lead to increased function, reduced pain, and greater ease and pleasure of movement. As we grow older, chronic pain becomes an increasing problem in our lives. This class will provide you with the tools you need to heal yourself. Learn how to make the impossible possible, the possible easy, and the easy aesthetically pleasing. This fun class is open to all ages and ability levels.

North Bend Fitmates
Instructor: Minna Rudd

This exciting cross training program will get you in shape, tone your muscles, and burn calories! Games, relays and drills get your heart pumping and strength and circuit training builds muscle and improves endurance. Training with a fun co-ed group helps you improve your overall fitness faster – challenge by choice! Learn more at .

Drop In Fitness Schedules
Instructor: Stephanie Merrow

This class is meant to help students who are new to Yoga, learn the basics for a solid yoga foundation and experienced yogis, an opportunity to practice the Ashtanga fundamentals. Yoga poses are broken down to give you the confidence and skills for alignment, breath work, strength and flexibility. Please bring a yoga mat (yoga block and strap encouraged).

Belly Dancing
Instructor: Kathy Stuart

Women of all ages, sizes and inclinations are re-discovering an empowering themselves through the ancient, feminine, dance practice playfully called “Belly Dancing”. The fluid and graceful movements help to tone and strengthen the back and abdominal muscles while improving posture and self-confidence, all to wonderful music. This class covers fundamentals as well as choreographing a dance. Dress for comfort and bring a large scarf to tie around your hips. Teens, adults and seniors all are welcome. This is exercise for everyone!

Trail Tuesdays

FREE!Walking is one of the most accessible forms of exercise with numerous benefits. Join our lunch time walking group as we explore different parks throughout the area. This will be an instant mood boost with fresh air and new friends! Did we mention this is FREE?!? Si View staff will kick off the series with opportunity for a community member to become group leads. Additional days and time may be added based on interest. Please register for Si View Striders to receive walking group updates. This is a rain or shine activity – so dress for the weather!

The Restart Nutrition Program

Welcome to a new offering about Nutrition. The Restart Program is part nutritional education, part sugar detox, part support group forming into an empowering combination. Our instructor Kim Morell has multiple years of teaching this course. Sign up today to get started before the holidays!

Tai Chi - Adult Class
6 Week Session or 14 Week Session
Instructor: Eric Madsen

The 24 form is great for improving health, balance, relaxation and reducing stress. It is also excellent for reducing aches and pains from arthritis and lower back pain. The form emphasizes silk reeling movements, which softly rotate the joints increasing range of motion. HunYuan Chen Tai Chi was created by Grand Master Feng Zhiqiang. He modified the traditional Chen style incorporating taoist philosophy and practices into the system.

ViniYoga - Yoga for Women-4 week series:
Instructor: Megan Schweppenheiser

As women, we have unique needs and deserve our own dedicated time for self-exploration and discovery. We will intentionally create a safe and accepting space to explore our present condition and move toward a place of greater balance in the body, breath and mind. The tools of the Viniyoga approach are highly adaptable in order to fit the needs and goals of each practitioner. This class welcomes all body shapes and sizes and is open to all levels (including beginners). In addition to classes, weekly handouts will be provided for a 15-20 minute home practice. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and dress comfortably for movement. Contact the instructor if supplies are needed.

Adult Dance Classes

Beginning Ballroom Dance for Adults
Instructor: John Gibson

Anyone can learn to partner dance and have fun on the dance floor. This 5 week beginning ballroom dance course is for those new to partner dancing or who are very rusty and want to again start at the beginning. The low-key, slow-paced, class will cover the basics of partner dancing Dances taught will be Waltz and Foxtrot. Each class will include practice time, beautiful waltz music and cool smooth foxtrot music. No Partner is required and leather soled shoes are recommended. Please note - drop in fee is only available after the minimum enrollment requirement has been met.

Beginning Swing Dance for Adults
Instructor: John Gibson

Anyone can learn to partner dance and have fun on the dance floor. Swing ìJitterbugî dancing is one of the most fun and easiest to learn dances. This 5 week beginning course is for either those new to swing dancing or who are rusty and want to start at the beginning again. The upbeat, slowpaced class will cover the basics of partner swing dancing. Each class will include practice time with a variety of upbeat fun swing music. No Partner is required and leather soled shoes are recommended. Please note - drop in fee is only available after the minimum enrollment requirement has been met.

You are never too old to make some noise! Let yourself go in this beginning/intermediate tap class! Learn basic steps and rhythms, traveling time steps and shuffles! Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your tap shoes the first day!

Join Our High Energy Fitness Class Instructor Team!

We have openings for fitness instructors teaching group format classes that are suitable for all fitness levels. Group fitness instructors are responsible for teaching all scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time, provide adequate warm-up, content and cool down period, prepare appropriate equipment and music for each class, maintain a positive experience for all participants, and help with promotion of classes. Limited equipment is available on site. Group fitness instructor certification preferred, CPR/AED certification required.
