Si View’s Dance Program offers a high level of professional instruction with a strong emphasis on technique, fitness, and fun. Each student receives individual attention, initiating the joy and appreciation of dance and music. We allow each student the freedom of creative expression in a nurturing and motivating environment designed to enhance self-esteem.

This is a great introduction to dance and theatre for both boys and girls. Learn the basic steps of jazz, hip hop and ballet while moving your body to the beat. Stretch your muscles and your imagination as you enjoy a class of fun and increase your creativity and coordination.

Pre-Ballet

Come twirl and skip like a ballerina. This fun beginners class will offer the foundation for ballet. Students will learn ballet positions and build strength while making new friends dancing. Great for developing coordination and confidence.

Ballet

These classes focus on the basic ballet vocabulary, emphasizing correct alignment. Barre-work, adagio and petite and grand allegro build strength and grace in a non-competitive encouraging environment. Grace, style and ballet discipline will continue to be mastered.

Jazz

Learn jazz steps and across the floor movements while developing a personal sense of artistic expression. For the more advanced students they will contribute to choreography and advance their performance skills.

Tap/Ballet

Provides a great opportunity to explore a diversity of dance styles. Have fun experiencing the multiple disciplines of tap & ballet. Students will learn ballet positions and build strenght while making new friends dancing. Great for developing coordination and confidence.

Tap

Tappers learn basic rhythmic steps and terminology. Students work on perfecting basic skills and rhythms while learning fun combinations.

Modern

This modern/lyrical class will focus on techniques from different modern masters, including Graham, Limon & Evans. Students will learn methods, choreography and improvisation while building their dance language and having fun!

Pointe

More than just an advanced ballet class. In classical ballet when a dancer uses special shoes (called pointe shoes) to dance ‘en pointe’ (on their toes) they have reached a new level. This is for the serious intermediate/advanced student. Only those who are found qualified by the teacher can participate.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is a fun, popular style of dance for boys and girls. In this class we will be focusing on establishing a good body rhythm and learning basic to intermediate pop choreography. Students will start learning how to control spins, perform leaps and learn choreography to top 40 pop singles.
