Open Contracted positions:
Si View Youth Sports Basketball Referee

Si View Metropolitan Park District runs a seasonal recreational youth basketball league from January to March. Seasonal youth basketball referees officiate, keep game score, assist with facility supervision and custodial duties as needed. Successful candidate demonstrates enthusiasm for sports, has reasonable knowledge of the game of basketball with emphasis on the rules specific to youth basketball, and has the ability to work well with children of all ages as well as parents and coaches.

Referee work is primarily on weekends from January to March as Snoqualmie Valley Schools. Referees must be minimum of 16 years of age, pass a background check, and complete CPR and First Aid training prior to officiating. Referees work as independent contractors for the Si View Metropolitan Park District youth sports division. Referees are compensated $10-$12 per game depending on the grade level. High Energy Fitness Class Instructor

We have openings for Step Aerobics and Zumba instructors, also open to other group class formats that are suitable for all fitness levels. Group fitness instructors are responsible for teaching all scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time, provide adequate warm-up, content and cool down period, prepare appropriate equipment and music for each class, maintain a positive experience for all participants, and help with promotion of classes. Limited equipment is available on site. Group fitness instructor certification preferred, CPR/AED certification required.
